Laboratory Sciences Technology Programme at IIHAS
The Laboratory Sciences & Technology programme at Isimila Institute of Health and Allied Sciences is designed to provide students with the technical knowledge and practical skills essential for performing laboratory investigations that support accurate diagnosis, treatment, and disease prevention. Laboratory professionals play a vital role in strengthening healthcare systems through reliable testing and scientific analysis.
This programme equips students with competencies in areas such as medical microbiology, clinical chemistry, haematology, and laboratory management. Emphasis is placed on hands-on laboratory practice, quality control, and adherence to professional and ethical standards, ensuring graduates are well-prepared to contribute to healthcare delivery through accurate and reliable laboratory services.
All training is conducted in line with the National Technical Awards (NTA) system, guaranteeing that graduates meet national standards and are ready to serve in both public and private healthcare settings.
